'God separated light from darkness....'

It would seem timely that, today, as I begin to write about my journey through the Bible, that the BBC reported the discovery by Europe’s Planck satellite that primeval light was most probably separated from darkness, just as God said it was in Genesis 1:3,4:

“Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness.”

This seems a relevant place to start : ‘In the beginning…’ The beginning of the Bible, of the universe, of our world; the beginning of God’s story… the beginning of the light of the world!

Scientists release new pictures of the “oldest light” in the Universe compiled by Europe’s Planck satellite

* Theory holds that 375,000 years after Big Bang, matter and light “decoupled”
* Matter went on to form stars and galaxies; the light spread out and cooled.
